Daymon LaPoint is the CEO and founder of LaPoint Midstream Group, LLC and its subsidiaries. Daymon is a known creative, out-of-the-box thinker that is responsible for the overall company vision and operation. Daymon proudly served in the United States Navy (Aviation Structural Mechanic) before earning his Mechanical Engineering Degree at Northrup University in Inglewood, California. During Daymon's 25+ career in engineering, consulting, and construction in the oil and gas industry, developed a diverse and skilled understanding of the oil and gas logistics and facility operations, from project concept and design through construction and operations.
Prior to developing and implementing his vision at LaPoint, Daymon served as the Engineering & Construction Director for GT logistics, overseeing construction and operation of crude oil railcar and barge loading, oil tank storage facilities, and other midstream operations and logistics. He also served as the Vice President of Midstream Development for Burrow Global Upstream, leading construction and operations of various midstream logistics projects and facilities. Other positions that Daymon has served include Director of Crude Oil Terminals and other logistics positions with Noble Drilling and Fluor Daniels. Daymon has led projects of up to $500 million from start-up through operation.
Daymon is a member of the Houston Transportation Professionals Association.
Jodi Chambers is the Chief Financial Officer of LaPoint Midstream Group, LLC and its subsidiaries and is responsible for all financial, administrative and marketing functions of LaPoint. Jodi is a licensed CPA with 20+ years experience in accounting and 15+ years in Human Resources. She earned her Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas and began her career in Houston, Texas in the audit department of two of the "Big Six" international accounting firms - Deloitte & Touche then Coopers & Lybrand. She audited a diverse portfolio of clients, including publicly-traded and privately-held corporations with up to $3.64 billion in annual revenues in a variety of industries. This vast array of clients included Destec Energy and Lockheed Martin.
After returning to Beaumont, Texas, Jodi expanded her accounting knowledge to corporate and individual taxation while serving as an Audit & Tax Manager at a local public accounting firm. Most recently, Jodi served as the Sr. Director of Finance & HR for a facility managed by the largest global property and entertainment management company.
Jodi is a member of the AICPA, the Texas Society of CPAs, and SHRM. She also serves as Treasurer on multiple local nonprofit organization Boards.
Blake Shaver is the Vice President of Sales for LaPoint Midstream Group, LLC and its subsidiaries and is responsible for day-to-day customer interface and business development. Blake earned his Bachelors in Business Administration at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Blake began his career at a commercial real estate appraisal firm in Houston, Texas, but quickly moved into sales at National Pump & Compressor, the second largest specialty pump rental company in North America. In 2014, Blake furthered his sales career with United Rentals, the largest equipment rental company in the world, when they acquired National Pump & Compressor.
Blake is a member of the Houston Transportation Professionals Association.
